Protest at NZ High Commission in London

Since the voices of Iranian New Zealand women were suppressed through violence and intimidation in Auckland on the 25th March 2023, I thought I would share a link to a live stream outside the Iranian New Zealand High Commission in London, filmed yesterday, where British women give them a voice. You can watch it here –

It’s never ok to suppress the voices of people in a democracy with violence and intimidation.

  1. The thuggery at the ‘Let Women Speak’ rally in Auckland was something to behold, as the emerging video footage is showing! The mainstream media, who stoked up agitation about it all week with lies and distortions about Kellie-Jay Keen, have gone quiet. Wherever they haven’t been quiet, they have downplayed what happened there, and/or turned it into some sort of love-fest for “our diverse communities”. Our Prime Minister, Chris Hipkins, has said that he’d been there, he would have been on the side where the protestors were. Both are an absolute disgrace. But, in spite of trying to move onto other things, both the media and the prime Minister might find that this just isn’t going to go away.
