We’re in Braemar today and gosh I love this place. I think I could retire here.

The entrance to the Fife Arms is beautiful.
This is the duck pond at the top of Chapel Brae. It’s a short walk from the centre of the village to the pond. It’s partly frozen but definitely not safe for ice-skating. I wonder whether the locals ever get to ice-skate on it?
