This week the local artist behind KMG painted the other wall on Deeside Way beneath Great Southern Road. She did the opposite wall for us a couple of years ago in 2022. I have always thought it would be nice to continue the theme along both sides of the path so this year we applied for funding from Sustrans and were successful. Painting began on Monday and finished today.

The surfer is a nod to Aberdeen’s beach while the recumbent shows an elderly cyclist highlighting the accessibility of the railway line; the cargo bike with vegetables and fruit trees recognises the nearby community garden while the black dog is a local dog that was rescued from Romania.
