Absolutely enormous pants

Do you remember that scene in Bridget Jones’s Diary where Renée Zelleweger and Hugh Grant hook up and Grant discovers the “absolutely enormous pants”?

I’ve just bought myself The Jones Briefs from Davy J and they are absolutely enormous pants. Davy J is a British manufacturer of swim wear, making sustainable and long-lasting items from discarded fishing nets. I’ve been looking for a swimsuit for a little while and have wanted something comfortable, practical, and flattering. I have high expectations.

I’m nearly 45, have had two kids, and despite being kick-ass at the baby shark abs workout, I don’t really want to prance around in a bikini any more. But I’m not keen on a one-piece suit either because you have to completely strip off to use the toilet. They’re just not practical. The Jones Brief solves both problems perfectly.

When you put them on they smooth all the bumps and you can pull them right up to the bikini top making it look like a one-piece.

But it’s two pieces.

You can roll the top down if you want.

You can even show a bit of tummy and anyway, who cares what anyone else thinks?

The low cut around the thighs means you don’t have to worry about shaving the bikini line either and that to me is a huge plus. Now I just need to find a spot to go swimming!

Women have really made life so hard for themselves with shaving, makeup, and pressure to stay youthful. I want to approach 50 embracing my grey hairs, my wrinkles, and my wobbly tummy. I don’t wear makeup any more and it’s really liberating. Living in Scotland makes this easy. Women here have more freedom just to be themselves and that’s worth celebrating. Always choose something that makes you feel comfortable first.
