Elizabeth had a Highland Dance performance on Sunday afternoon. She was wonderful! I enjoyed watching this show immensely. Highland Dancing is so different to the dancing I’m used to and I love that they get to dance with swords. Luckily the swords are not sharp otherwise a few of the children would be missing toes today, for sure. When we got home Elizabeth showed me how to do a pas-de-basque.
We cycled to the concert and yet again Hoss was invaluable. I thought I’d take some pics of the inside for anyone interested. As you can see, it is very spacious inside and could fit four children.
This is the lockable compartment which contains the battery.
I had another go inside.
I could probably sleep comfortably in there. But maybe a pedal-powered campervan would be better.
Does Elizabeth find it difficult to remember the dance steps? She looks very assured.
I don’t think so. She practises quite a bit throughout the week and seems to enjoy it. That makes a big difference.
I love Hoss. Hope the swords weren’t too sharp!
Thankfully the swords are all blunt 🙂
