A Brisbane artist has merged pornography with cross-stitch in a way that has improved both things considerably more than if they were separate. The cross-stitch lends an air of respectability to the pornography while the pornography offsets the fuddy-duddy image of cross stitch.

I’m wondering how you found this article. 🙂 Leah seems quite talented at ‘painting’ pictures with cross stitch. Can’t say I’m particularly interested in the subject matter though.
She’s very talented! I agree. It’s such a strange combination – cross-stitch and pornography – and the way she got started so unusual. She’d never done any cross-stitch before at all and I imagine that using cross-stitch to create people must be quite difficult. I think her scenes are based on vintage porn which to my knowledge – and I’m certainly no expert! – is tamer than the stuff around today.
having just googled her, and found 2 galleries with images of her work… that ‘vintage porn’ was not very tame!
