I knitted a dress

I’ve been slack at writing lately because all my spare time has been spent knitting. I need one of those stickers for the car window that says, “I’d rather be knitting”. I just completed my first dress and it has turned out rather well. It was knit in the round from the top down.

Last Sunday we went for a walk at Tollohill Wood which is on the outskirts of Aberdeen. I took some lovely lush green photos of it. It is a fantastic spot for a Sunday morning walk.

A pond at Tollohill Woods. It's likely the remains of an old quarry.

There’s lots of farmland in the area which is always reassuring especially with news this week of grain stores under attack by Russia. I think this is a field of wheat beside the woods.

You’re almost inspiring me to take up knitting again – haha!

The dress is beautiful. You must knit really quickly? It’s really evenly textured, beautifully knitted.

Thank you! I don’t think I’m particularly fast but it I do it everyday in the evenings and that adds up. I also do a bit more on weekends, especially as I’m getting close to completion.
