Knitting trail in Braemar

It has been a while since we last went out to the countryside and I was starting to feel the pull of forests and hills today so we drove out to Braemar for lunch and a hill walk. Braemar was looking beautiful dressed in autumn colours. We were also lucky to see a space-themed knitting trail around the village. I think you’ll agree there are some very talented knitters in the village. I particularly like the dalek.

For the hill walk, we went up Creag Chรฒinnich. We saw a red squirrel, an attempt was made at a jumping shot, and the weather was typically Scottish with a mix of sun, rain, and gale-force winds. Overall, a delightful day and just what the doctor ordered, or would have, had we spoken to any.

  1. I love the life size Tardis, too! When we get knitting, its usually on our piers and small pieces (lots of them). Its unusual to see such large knitted items!! A lovely walk too.

  2. Wooow, stunning pictures! Especially the big view ones! ๐Ÿ˜โค
