Time to put up the Christmas tree

We always put up our Christmas tree on the first weekend in December and we’ve just done it today. We have a Timbatreeย which we use every year. I bought it because I wanted to reduce myย impact on the environment and a Timbatree is a good way to do it while supporting a British business at the same time.

I love the smell of the pine and I think it looks nice. The kids can also assemble it themselves now and that’s what happened today with just a bit of guidance from me.

Susan Boyle has released another Christmas album. Has everyone seen her auditionย on Britain’s Got Talent in 2009? It’s amazing and always makes me teary. It’s worth watching if you haven’t already seen it.

Love a good Timbatree. I got Isabel to put ours up, but I forgot to get the decorations out (thought they were in the same box) so it’s technically up, but bare. It needs some decorations like yours!

I think the Timbatrees look nice bare too or with just a minimalist look. Ours is probably a bit cluttered and messy ๐Ÿ™‚

Just told my other half about the Timbatree – I had not heard of them before. Looks awesome (and such a good idea!)
