I have absolutely no idea of a suitable caption for that last one. I love cacti, though. Fascinating plant. I imagine the ones in Duthie Gardens are in hot houses, right?

Yes, these are all in the winter gardens which is a huge glasshouse. I’ve read that it’s Europe’s largest indoor plant collection.
A thing is longer than it’s wide because the longest length is it’s length and the the length that is shorter than it’s longest length is it’s width unless it’s is depth or height. Sometimes it’s height or depth is it’s longest length but then that must really be it’s length. So you see what I mean. 😛
