I thought this short video about rewilding was rather lovely and so I want to share it. Rewilding is about restoring natural ecosystems – reintroducing missing plants and animals and letting nature take over.
If you think the idea of elephants roaming Europe is odd, apparently biologists are already considering restoring Britain’s lynx population. Maybe elephants will be next.

That’s so cool! I would love to see lions and elephants wander around Europe. In fact, wolves are being reintroduced in Switzerland at the moment too, which makes me really happy. Currently there are about 20 of them in the country, including a whole wolf pack with a male, a female and their babies!
I’m not sure how I’d feel about lions wandering around, but elephants and wolves sound good.
