Elizabeth doing a leap

Elizabeth’s choreography for Elephant Sessions

Elizabeth danced her own choreography at the Forfar annual choreography competition yesterday. She chose the song Colours by Elephant Sessions who are a Scottish indie folk band from the highlands and who we’ve seen play live a couple of times now. We’re planning to see them again next month.

Her dance had to be less than 3 minutes so I was forced to shorten the song as it’s over 5 minutes but it’s still really good and you can’t tell it has been edited.

Although she didn’t win anything it was her first competition as a premier dancer and the lineup was strong. There may be some parental bias here but I thought she was the best. Her dance was fast, challenging and she put on a great show with lots of smiles and enthusiasm.
