Highland dance show

Elizabeth’s end of year highland dance show was this week, performed over three nights with the last performance this evening.

She’s been performing in these shows for several years now and we love going to them. I went fishing through my old photos and found this one of her from the show in March 2019 when she was only little. Her kilt is a bit too big and her vest too small.

We restaged the photos this evening with me in the same dress. As you can see, I’ve shrunk!

    Lovely idea to restage the photo! And so great for Elizabeth to have found something she loves so much. Imagine if you’d never moved to Scotland!

      We feel so much at home here it’s hard to imagine living anywhere else or even to remember that we once lived on the other side of the planet. Scottish highland dancing is a great way to keep fit as it’s so athletic. I go to an adult beginner’s class and it’s great fun but exhausting.
