We are in Aviemore and it has been an eventful couple of days with Ben spending much of Friday night puking. He’s mostly recovered now but Elizabeth fell victim on Christmas Eve and spent the night puking and Christmas Day unable to eat very much. There are 10 of us in the house so we’re worried who will be next.
My sister and I are still fine so we began the day with a dip in Loch Morlich. You’ve got to make the most of your health because you never know when the next tummy bug will strike.
It was freezing. Probably about 5C and I lasted less than 20 seconds in the water.
You feel wonderfully refreshed afterwards.
Then we had lunch with some extended family.
Then it started to snow and it has snowed and snowed and snowed all afternoon. This is the first time we’ve ever had a truly white Christmas with lots of snow falling on the day itself. It was very exciting despite all the puking. Did I mention the cat also participated in the Christmas puking?
