I just got my first pair of reading glasses. I guess this is what happens when you reach your mid-40s, or almost. I’m 44. I’ve always had 20/20 vision even up until a couple of years ago. But lately, I’ve noticed I have to hold things further away from my face to read the print and when I’m tired it sometimes feels like my eyes are straining. I went and had my eyes checked and I got a very weak prescription for some glasses. They really just look like magnifying glasses and feel a little weird to wear. On the positive side, glasses can make you look smarter and distinguished. What do you think?
