I went for a morning walk up the hill this morning and managed to take some good photos despite my hopeless photography skills. The colours are just amazing and the views were splendid. These were all taken on my iPhone 4s and have not been edited. I never edit any of my photos.

You underestimate yourself. I have always enjoyed your photos. Your compositions are remarkable sometimes and you get excellent technical results with your iPhone. It looks beautiful there. Warm, and from my perspective, great rolling terrain for cycling 🙂
There were lots of people mountain biking there. It looked a bit scary to me as the hills were really steep and the terrain very rocky.
Lovely pics, I must say my fav is the first one with the cable cars in the distance across the field of brown. Stunning.

How nice to have a change of scene from time to time. The photos are lovely. The scenes remind me a bit of some of the Australian countryside minus gum trees.
Yes, I agree. The sun burnt look reminds me of Australia too. It was also very dry like Australia.

I also love the autumn colours. I’m back in Aberdeen and the colours are just starting to change here now.
I think your photos are lovely. Landscapes are more difficult than they look, I think. When you are there, you think, how amazing, and then when you take the snap, it seems to come out much diminished.
Yes, that happens to me all the time. The view looks amazing but the photograph doesn’t do it justice. Still, it’s nice to have the photographic memory of it anyway.
Sun rays photos are awesome! I too don’t understand why people apply filters to their photos. The best pics are unfiltered and unprocessed, I would like to believe.
Yes, I kind of feel like editing photos is cheating. But maybe that’s just because I’ve never tried to do it myself and if I did I might end up hooked.
