The vomits

Elizabeth woke up last night at around 3am and vomited in our bed. I changed her and our bedding just in time to hear Daniel doing the same thing in his bed. Daniel had eaten lots of cherry tomatoes just before going to bed and it looked as though someone had emptied the contents of two cans of crushed tomatoes and splashed them all over him, his bed and the wall. Joy!

Elizabeth has been puking pretty much non-stop since 3am and Daniel just twice more. She is now fast asleep and Daniel is looking very sad on our sofa.

    Gosh, something like that happened to us the first time our children ate McDonald's, regurgitating all the fatty chips, but I've never heard of cherry tomatoes being the culprit!

    Oh dear. Just another hiccup in the journey of parenting. It will be gross and dramatic but hopefully short lived. Thinking of you all… Gabbie

    A virus is the cause rather than cherry tomatoes. They're just incidental. Both kids caught a stomach bug from someone and it hit them at precisely the same time. They've both had a running fever and vomited numerous times. It was quieter last night thanks goodness.

    That's a relief. Thought it may have been insecticide on the tomatoes.
