Freud is not well. He was back with us last night but I’m to return him to a specialist this morning. Aside from having some internal bleeding, he’s also got kidney stones, a tumor above one of his adrenal glands, a heart murmur, a swollen pancreas, slightly elevated blood sugar and dry eye. It’s likely that the internal bleeding is from the tumor but they are planning another ultrasound today to find out. I’m getting nervous about the vet bill now but this is Freud we’re talking about and until last Sunday, he was an active, exuberant dog showing no signs of slowing down. Hopefully we’ll have a clearer picture of what’s going on today.
