Congratulations to Elizabeth!

It’s Elizabeth’s turn to do amazingly well in her iGCSE results which came out today. She totally blitzed it getting straight As: 6 x A* and 1 x A. She was also awarded a Cambridge International Certificate in Education (ICE) distinction. Distinction is the highest level of the ICE program and students must get a grade A or better in five subjects. Her subjects were computer science, maths, English, French, co-ordinated science (double award – she got two A* here), and global perspectives. She also did an English literature paper but that result is still to come out as it’s assessed separately.

She’s a very well-rounded student who does well in both humanities and STEM subjects but her preference is more towards STEM. She’ll be starting A-levels in September and taking maths, computer science and biology. She also did a grade 4 violin exam at the start of the holidays and achieved a distinction (95%) for that which she was really chuffed about. All this at the same time as highland dance, singing, musical theatre, tap dancing, violin and cheer and I think that’s it for now.

I put it down to a combination of good genes, good management, and good luck.

That’s great news! What a lot of different subjects to master. Elizabeth is an amazing individual and she has had such a supportive environment around her to bring out the best in her. You must all be so pleased
