Is Trump a Russian asset?

I asked Grok, Elon Musk’s AI tool, whether Trump is a compromised Russian asset. It said yes, with a likelihood of 75 – 85%.

It may seem a like joke but as this Senator says in the video below, if he was a Russian asset he would be doing exactly what he’s doing now.

It’s difficult to understand why people support Putin. I used to wonder how Hitler garnered so much support in the 1930s both within his country and around the world including from high profile people like the former King Edward VIII who abdicated the throne along with his wife Wallis Simpson. But now I see the support for Putin and people parroting Putin’s propaganda, even the President of the United States said Zelensky is a dictator while never using the word to describe the real dictator. I’ve seen people say they’re as bad as each other when talking about Putin and Zelensky. Well no, actually, they’re not as bad as each other. Have we already forgotten?

I’ll start with Dawn Sturgess, mother-of-3 from Wiltshire who was poisoned with the toxic nerve agent novichok after two Russian agents at Putin’s behest threw the stuff into a charity bin in Salisbury, England. It was in a perfume bottle; she unwittingly sprayed it on her neck and died at Salisbury District Hospital on 8th July 2018. She was not Putin’s target. Instead he was targeting a former Russian agent, Sergei Skripal, who also ended up in hospital but survived. Skripal’s daughter was also a victim and was hospitalised along with a young boy the two had shared bread with for feeding ducks and the police officer who started the initial investigation. Fortunately they all survived likely because they received a smaller dose than Dawn who sprayed it all over herself. Putin denied it all of course but there’s CCTV footage and forensic evidence. The two thugs claimed on Russian TV that they were merely tourists in Salisbury visiting the cathedral. Who visits the UK just to see Salisbury cathedral? No one. The excuses are so pathetic they’re an insult to Dawn. That they chose to toss the bottle into a charity bin says all you need to know about Putin and his henchmen. There was enough novichok in that bottle to kill thousands of people.

In 2014, Putin shot down Malaysian Airlines Flight 17 as it flew over eastern Ukraine. 298 people from 10 countries died instantly. A subsequent inquiry found a Russian Buk missile system was responsible for the strike. It had been carried from Russia into Ukraine on the day of the crash then returned back to Russia straight after. Unsurprisingly, Russia has not taken responsibility for the crash and never will. They never take responsibility for anything. This crash I think was a mistake on Russia’s part rather than deliberate but how many other countries have shot down a commercial airline by mistake and then steadfastly refused to take responsibility for it?

Let’s not forget Alexei Navalny, the Russian opposition leader, who Putin poisoned with novichok in 2020 on a flight from Tomsk to Moscow. He was taken urgently to a hospital in Germany where he miraculously recovered, only to be murdered in a Russian prison on 16th February 2024. His crime was to call Russia’s political elite a “party of crooks and thieves.” He left behind a wife and two children.

Putin doesn’t hold free and fair elections, he murders his opponents, and he never keeps his word so any deal with Putin is as iron-clad as Chamberlain’s “peace” deal with Hitler in 1938. How does negotiation with someone like that work? It doesn’t.

It must be very insulting for Ukrainians to hear world leaders and commentators tell them they just need to stop fighting and seek peace then the war will be over. It’s like telling someone who is being held underwater by a serial killer that if only they would stop struggling all will be well while never putting any blame at all on the serial killer.
