Fairies and butterflies

It’s a busy weekend of birthday parties this weekend. The kids were invited to a fairy party yesterday and Elizabeth dressed up as a fairy. Boys were not required to be fairies. We’ve got another party today.

There was face-painting too. Daniel understood what this was about but Elizabeth was a little unsure until…

There was trouble when it came to bath time last night as Elizabeth had cottoned on to the fact that we’d be washing off her butterflies. After much convincing and a little bribery, we got her in the bath and Ben managed to distract her while gently wiping off the paint. Daniel watched with trepidation while it was being wiped off and said to Ben, “Don’t say anything!”.
