Elizabeth had her pre-bronze National Highland dance exam today. She performed The Lilt and she thinks it went well. I took this recording before the exam. She won’t get her results until next year.
When she was getting ready this morning she informed me that the teachers told her last Monday her socks were too short. It was just like Michael McIntyre’s skit where just as they’re about to leave for school his son tells him it’s Roman dress-up today and they have to go to school as someone from the Roman empire. Ben dashed off on his bike to M&S and bought every length of white socks they had. It’s just as well because it turned out her socks were too high rather than too short.
It was a sockcess!
