I took a lovely photograph of Daniel this week at his tennis lesson. He’s just served the ball:
The photo was taken with my new iphone and edited and uploaded using the same device. I’ve just started experimenting with Siri – the voice recognition software – today. It is quite amazing. I can remember testing voice recognition software 10 or so years ago and thinking it was quite diabolical. The technology has come a long way. I can tell my phone verbally to play an album or songs by an artist and it does. I can tell it to send a long text message to one of my contacts and it does. This is the most useful feature for me because I’m an impatient soul and a very fast touch typist, so having to write text messages by way of one-finger clicking is painfully annoying. I have never really got into the whole text-message thing because of this. Now I can just talk, and it types for me.
